Bill Gates Faces Committee Over Epstein
“I should never have met with Epstein in the first place.” That was the central message from billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates as he appeared before the House Oversight Committee to answer questions about his past relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The closed door interview marks one of the most significant developments in Congress’s ongoing investigation into Epstein’s network of associates and the federal government’s handling of the case. Lawmakers sought Gates’ testimony after documents released by the Justice Department revealed communications involving Gates and individuals connected to Epstein.
Gates Calls Relationship a “Grave Error in Judgment”
