Epstein Survivor Claims Financier Sought to Build a Modern “Babylon” as New Allegations Surface About His Ideology
More than five years after Jeffrey Epstein’s death inside a federal jail cell, survivors and investigators continue uncovering new details about the disgraced financier’s world. Now, one survivor is offering a deeply personal and controversial account of what she believes truly motivated Epstein’s actions.
In a recent interview with TMZ, visual artist and Epstein survivor Reena O described a two year period during which she says she was groomed, manipulated, and psychologically controlled by Epstein’s network. While much of the public understanding of Epstein centers on sex trafficking, blackmail, and abuse, Reena argues there was another dimension to his worldview, one she believes was rooted in power, domination, and the creation of what Epstein allegedly called a modern “Babylon.” Her claims cannot be independently verified and represent her personal interpretation of her experiences. However, they add another layer to the continuing examination of one of the most notorious criminal networks in modern history.
Claims of a “Babylon” Vision
According to Reena, Epstein frequently discussed grand ambitions that extended beyond his well documented interest in wealth, influence, and social status. She alleges that Epstein repeatedly spoke about creating a modern day “Babylon” a sprawling polygamous empire in which he would occupy a central leadership role. Drawing on her own background studying biblical art and religious symbolism, Reena said she later came to view Epstein’s vision as an attempt to create what she described as “hell on Earth.” The survivor claimed that Epstein appeared fascinated not simply by physical control but by the destruction of personal identity and emotional well being.
“He wasn’t interested in pleasure,” she suggested during the interview. “He was interested in breaking people.”
Those assertions remain impossible to independently verify. However, other survivors over the years have similarly described Epstein as deriving satisfaction from exercising extraordinary psychological control over vulnerable individuals.
The Designer Baby Obsession
Some of Reena’s claims align with previously reported information regarding Epstein’s interest in genetics, eugenics, and reproduction. Investigations published before Epstein’s death documented his desire to seed humanity with his DNA and father large numbers of children. Reena claims Epstein became fixated on artwork she presented during one of their earliest interactions, particularly a piece depicting motherhood and children.
According to her account, Epstein interpreted the artwork as evidence she would be a suitable candidate to bear his child. She alleges he repeatedly pressured her to have a baby with him. Those allegations coincide with previously documented reports about Epstein’s interest in creating what some associates described as a “breeding” program involving multiple women.
Grooming Through Opportunity
Unlike many public accounts involving direct recruitment into Epstein’s abuse network, Reena describes a more gradual process. She says Epstein initially presented himself as an arts patron and benefactor rather than a predator. According to her account, he offered financial assistance and educational opportunities through the School of Visual Arts in New York.
The arrangement appeared legitimate at first. Over time, however, she alleges that the financial support created a sense of obligation that evolved into a cycle of manipulation and abuse. Advocates who work with trafficking survivors note that grooming frequently relies on trust, mentorship, opportunity, and financial dependence rather than immediate coercion. Experts say these methods can make victims less likely to recognize exploitation until they are already deeply entangled in a relationship.
New Scrutiny on the Art World
The interview also touches on an area receiving increased attention from investigators and journalists: Epstein’s involvement in the fine art market. Court records, financial documents, and investigative reports have revealed that Epstein cultivated relationships with artists, academics, collectors, scientists, and cultural institutions.
Reena argues that recently released documents suggest Epstein viewed art as more than a personal interest. She believes it served as another avenue for influence and recruitment.
While investigators have documented Epstein’s extensive financial involvement across numerous industries, no law enforcement agency has formally concluded that the art world played a central role in criminal operations. Nevertheless, questions continue about how Epstein leveraged philanthropy, cultural patronage, and elite social circles to gain access to potential victims and powerful allies.
Disturbing Allegations About Ghislaine Maxwell
Reena’s account also includes allegations involving convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. She describes a rigid social hierarchy within Epstein’s homes where young women were expected to follow strict behavioral expectations.
According to her account, Maxwell enforced many of those rules and often treated victims as socially inferior. One particularly disturbing story involves a visit to Maxwell’s personal quarters where Reena alleges she was shown items she believed were connected to abuse. She declined to publicly describe the contents in detail, citing trauma associated with the memory.
Maxwell has consistently denied many allegations surrounding her conduct, though she was convicted in federal court in 2021 for helping recruit and groom underage girls for Epstein’s abuse network.
The Occult Question
The interview has reignited longstanding speculation surrounding occult themes that have circulated around Epstein’s network for years. Some observers point to unusual architecture on Epstein’s private island, references found in released financial records, and statements made by survivors as evidence of deeper ideological motivations. One frequently cited example involves a financial transfer allegedly referencing “Baal,” an ancient deity that appears in biblical texts.
However, investigators caution that such references do not automatically prove occult activity. Financial records often contain abbreviations, company names, nicknames, and other references that can be easily misinterpreted without additional context. Likewise, the blue-and-white domed structure on Little St. James Island has generated years of speculation online. Despite widespread theories, official investigations have focused primarily on trafficking operations and abuse allegations rather than ritualistic activity.
Legal experts and scholars who study conspiracy theories warn that unsupported claims involving Satanic Ritual Abuse frequently emerge around major criminal cases and should be approached carefully unless supported by independently verified evidence.
Seven Years of Fear
Perhaps the most alarming portion of Reena’s interview involves her claims of ongoing harassment. She alleges that since speaking publicly about Epstein she has experienced years of intimidation, including threats, stalking incidents, suspicious surveillance activity, and encounters she believes were designed to silence her. Those claims have not been independently verified.
However, numerous survivors have spoken publicly about the long term psychological consequences of their involvement with Epstein’s network. Many continue to deal with trauma, anxiety, and fears stemming from the extraordinary wealth, power, and influence Epstein wielded during his lifetime.
The Legacy of Epstein’s Network
While investigators continue examining newly released records and survivor accounts, one fact remains undisputed: Jeffrey Epstein built a sprawling operation that exploited vulnerable women and girls while surrounding himself with powerful individuals from politics, business, academia, entertainment, and finance.
What continues to divide observers is how much of that operation remains fully understood. For survivors like Reena O, the crimes were about far more than money or sex. They represented a deliberate system of manipulation, control, and psychological destruction. Whether her broader interpretations about Epstein’s motivations ultimately withstand scrutiny remains an open question. But her account serves as another reminder that years after his death, new allegations and unanswered questions continue emerging from one of the most disturbing criminal enterprises in modern American history.
