Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand is set to take part in a special fundraiser honoring the life of 10-year-old Selah Panacci-MacCallum, whose love for hockey touched many in her community. The event, held at a local rink, will raise funds for Selah’s family and includes a raffle featuring an autographed Marchand jersey.
“Please join us in celebrating an amazing night at the rink made possible by the ongoing giving nature of a 10-year-old girl that loved the game with all her [heart],” Marchand wrote on Instagram, sharing his support and admiration for Selah’s spirit.
Marchand missed Florida’s game Tuesday night against Anaheim for personal reasons. Panthers coach Paul Maurice said he expects the veteran winger to be available when the back-to-back defending Stanley Cup champions face the Dallas Stars on Saturday.
The event serves as both a tribute to Selah’s passion for hockey and a reminder of the game’s power to bring people together — a cause Marchand and the Panthers organization have embraced wholeheartedly.

RIP Little Lady!! You are a shining light in the hearts of many and you will be looking down and your presence will be missed forever
