Delta Air Lines Forced to Kick Big Mouth Flyer Off of Plane in Miami

Have you ever been in a public place and some idiot keeps yacking, LOUDLY, on their cellphone? It’s one of the most annoying things. And it also shows that the person has absolutely zero social graces. Well, the following story is a great example of this. And of course, like SFL.media, it is based in the Sunshine State.

A loudmouth passenger was removed from a Delta Air Lines flight earlier this week after they refused to end their cellphone call as the aircraft prepared to take off, officials said.

The Delta flight from Miami International Airport to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was delayed when the passenger refused to comply with flight attendants’ instructions, it has been reported.

According to Delta, crew members had asked the passenger numerous times to end their phone call as the plane was taxiing out to the runway, getting ready to take off. Everybody who has ever been on a plane knows that upon takeoff, there are a few simple rules that only really last for like five minutes.

The first is to stay seated and buckle your seat belt. Then tray tables up. And finally, no phone calls. Imagine that this is that hard to comply with? I don’t like following a million laws and rules like the next guy. But pick your battles, bro. You can get back on the phone to discuss your inane bullsh*t soon enough.

Passengers were obviously pissed off and expressed their frustration when the plane’s captain decided to delay takeoff. They had lots to say when local news stuck a mic and camera in their face.

“So we’re all supposed to listen, and he doesn’t?” one passenger can be heard complaining. “Just rip him off the plane, he’s in the front row!” another passenger can be heard saying.

Most of the passengers couldn’t care that the schmuck was on the phone. It’s just that by being on the phone, the Captain delayed the takeoff. “Please be considerate,” one passenger pleaded. “Consider the rest of us.”

A Delta spokesperson said the passenger “became disruptive,” and the crew decided to return to its gate. The passenger was then removed from the plane, which took off an hour after its scheduled departure.

Delta wanted it to be known after the incident that, “For everyone’s safety, federal regulations require that customers follow all crewmember instructions and prohibits the interference with crew duties,” the policy states. “Such actions are strictly prohibited and may result in civil or criminal penalties for interfering, assaulting or intimidating crewmembers or any other individuals.”

As of the time this article was posted, the identity of the man was never revealed, and it was unclear whether the passenger was arrested or charged.

Now that they were kicked off the plane, they can sit and talk about nothing on their phone all night in the airport lounge.
