Let me tell you right now. You DO NOT need to like country music to enjoy this song. It is quintessential country, but with poignant lyrics about what is going on in the world today. And especially in light of the Epstein findings, the lyrics sting even more. The song is catchy and important. It is a must-listen to.
When I heard the song, I knew that it was an unknown artist. As a matter of fact, he had never done music before. He had one other song titled “Smoke That Hopium” that he released before this one. It’s decent, but this one is much better in my opinion.
The gentleman who sings the song is Matt Baker. He calls his band Matt Baker and The Black-Pills. Being “black pilled” as opposed to “red pilled” or “blue pilled,” or even “white pilled,” means to be persuaded by the belief that there is no hope for resolving a major problem or changing society for the better. I, too, have become “black pilled”. And it was long before discovering this song or band.
There is only one way that you would know who Matt Baker was before he released this music. He went viral for going BATSHIT crazy at the San Diego Board of Supervisors during COVID-19. He looks like he could easily be Sammy Hagar’s brother. He just straight let’s these idiots have it. The highlight being when he starts to scream at them, “Heil Fauci”…”Heil Fauci”…”Heil Fauci”. It was classic. After this appearance and going viral with it, he appeared on a few Right-Wing media outlets, including Infowars with Alex Jones.
So listen to the song. Enjoy the song. And maybe you will follow and become a fan of a guy who clearly just wants the best for us and the USA!!!
