Dancing with the Stars” said goodbye to its fourth couple of Season 35 during Tuesday night’s “Yacht Rock Night.” Taylor Hanson and professional dancer Britt Stewart were eliminated from the competition during the September 29 episode after performing a Foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” by the Doobie Brothers.
The pair received a combined score of 18 out of 30 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Each judge awarded them a score of 6. Despite their score, Hanson and Stewart were not the only couple facing elimination. Several couples remained in danger as the results were revealed, with the final outcome determined by a combination of judges’ scores and viewer votes.
Hanson Reflects On His Experience
Following the elimination, Hanson expressed gratitude for the opportunity to compete and for his partnership with Stewart. “This has been everything, this has been incredible,” Hanson said following the results. Stewart also became emotional following the elimination as the pair reflected on their time together in the competition.
Fourth Elimination Of Season 35
Hanson and Stewart’s departure marks the fourth elimination of Season 35. The season began with two premiere episodes, which resulted in two couples being eliminated. Another couple was sent home during the second week of competition, bringing the total to four eliminated couples following Yacht Rock Night.
The remaining couples will continue competing for the Mirrorball Trophy as the season moves into its fourth week. “Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesdays on ABC and streams on Disney+.
