The drive was capped off with Jalen Milroe completing a 49 yrd TD pas to Jermaine Burton making the score now Alabama 16 Texas 13 at the end of the 3rd quarter. 4th quarter gets under way with Texas next drive only taking 3 plays an 75 yrds, with he big play being Quinn Ewers completing a 50 yrd pass to Ja’Tavion Sanders. nxt play saw Texas find the endzone once again with Ewers completing a 7 yrd TD pass to Adonai Mitchell. Texas 20 Alabama 16. Alabama next drive took a turn for the worst as QB Jalen Milroe was intercepted by Jerrin Thompson of Texas and return the pick to the Alabama 5 yrd line. Texas scores on the next play a 5 yrd TD run by RB Jonathon Brooks. Texas 27 Alabama 16. Alabama next drive they go 6 plays an 75 yrds with Milroe connecting on pass plays of 27 yrds, 17 yrds, and the final play of 39 yrds for a score. Alabama coverts a 2 point play making it Texas 27 Alabama 24 with 11:08 to go in the 4th quarter. Texas with the ball now goes 7 plays for 75 yrds with the big play being a 39 yard pass complete to Adonai Mitchell for a TD. Texas 34 Alabama 24. Alabama’s final drive only lasted 3 plays with 2 incomplete passes and a sack for an 8 yrd loss. Texas got the ball back with 7:14 to go in the 4th quarter and Alabama would never see the ball again has Texas ran out the clock to pull of the upset.
