Suspects and Charges
Two men have been formally charged in connection with the theft. Edward Payne, 29, faces charges including grand theft, battery on a police officer, fleeing and eluding, loitering or prowling, and resisting an officer without violence. Ichemith Joseph, 22, faces charges of loitering or prowling and trespassing of an occupied structure. Authorities reported that the suspects were detained following unrelated encounters with law enforcement, which led investigators to link them to the jewelry theft.
