Insane Drug Case Out of Pennsylvania

Authorities in York County, Pennsylvania, arrested two adults after daycare workers made a disturbing discovery inside a toddler’s lunch box. After testing, investigators determined the substance was cocaine.

Carroll Township Police launched an inquiry after the discovery and eventually obtained a search warrant for the home where the child lived. During the search, authorities reportedly found additional illegal drugs, cash, and packaging materials commonly associated with drug distribution operations.
Two Arrests are Made
Police arrested 30-year-old Emily Arter and 31-year-old Joel Rodriguez-Melendez. The pair now face a variety of serious charges, including possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, child endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other drug-related offenses. Shockingly, investigators also found four young children inside the residence during the search. The children were subsequently placed in the care of responsible adults while authorities continued their investigation.
