If you haven’t noticed, there is a lot of pornography out there. Some would say too much. From the number of companies producing it, to OnlyFans models. There is no shortage of content producers. In addition to all of the producers, you then have all of your fetishes and categories of content. Some categories are more popular than others. Foot fetish, farting, and fatties are three of the most widely searched terms that people like to fap to. There are a couple of other fetishes that get a lot of attention. And the UK government put both in their crosshairs.
So, a few months ago, the UK went after pornography depicting strangulation. It would become a criminal offence in the UK.
They stated that porn featuring strangulation or suffocation, often referred to as “choking”, is due to be criminalized, with a legal requirement placed on tech platforms to prevent UK users from seeing such material.

Possessing or publishing porn featuring choking will become a criminal offence under amendments to the Crime and Policing bill tabled in parliament on Monday. Did you read that? Not only is there trouble for those who create the material, but it is criminal to even possess it!
The choking ban comes after a government review into pornography found it has contributed to establishing strangulation as a “sexual norm”. In an independent porn review done in the UK, it was recommended that there be a ban on porn featuring strangulation.
It seems like the UK is playing the health card for why they have instituted the ban. They claim that their research shows strangulation is an unsafe practice, despite a widespread belief that it can be performed safely. And even though it often leaves no visible injury, oxygen deprivation, even for very short moments, causes changes to the fragile structures of the brain.
Multiple studies have specifically shown brain changes in women who have been repeatedly “choked” during sex, including markers for brain damage and disruptions in brain hemispheres linked to depression and anxiety.
Under the new amendment, platforms will be required to take proactive steps to prevent users from seeing illegal strangulation and suffocation content. The choking ban is set to become a priority offense. This means porn sites and tech platforms will have a legal requirement to ensure UK users do not see this material.
Bernie Ryan, chief executive of (and yes, this is real) the Institute for Addressing Strangulation, said the organization welcomed the ban. “While consenting adults have the right to explore their sexuality safely and freely, we must recognize the serious risks posed by unregulated online content, especially to children and young people.”
“Strangulation is a serious form of violence, often used in domestic abuse to control, silence, or terrify. When it’s portrayed in pornography, particularly without context, it can send confusing and harmful messages to young people about what is normal or acceptable in intimate relationships. Our research shows there is no safe way to strangle.”
If a company is caught producing this kind of porn, there are serious fines in store. This was passed a few months ago. But the UK government has shown that they have not stopped there, as they have now had a vote to ban “stepfamily porn”.
This week, the UK government has agreed to ban the production of pornography depicting sex acts between stepfamily members following a vote in their House of Lords.
Some ministers had opposed the amendment and suggested the new ban would have been difficult to implement because, under the law in England and Wales, it is not illegal for adults who are step-related to engage in a sexual relationship. You read that correctly. They want to ban porn that shows it, but in “real life” it is completely legal to engage in it! We live in a “clown world” for real.
Speaking after the ban was agreed on Friday, one minister said: “I greatly welcome the government’s plans to fully address harmful pornographic content, such as incest, step-incest and the mimicking of child sexual abuse.
“This content that is freely and widely available online is deeply harmful, normalising child sexual abuse and abusive relationships within families.
“Today the government has answered our calls for change, and I am delighted that once again the UK is leading the way on regulating this high-harm industry.”
The amendment was passed by only one vote, with 144 voting in favour and 143 against. Once the law comes into effect, anyone found to possess or publish pornography which shows incest between family members, or sex between step- or foster-relations where one person is pretending to be under-18, will be criminalized.
The publication of this material carries a maximum penalty of two to five years’ imprisonment, depending on the severity of the content.
This is a sad day for freaks in the UK. First, you lose your choking porn, then they take down your “step-mommy” fantasies. At the offices of SFL.media, we have taken bets on what ban is next. I think it will be fart porn. And the reason given will be that it is an unnecessary use of methane gas, which is bad for the environment. And they will also say that the real “silent but deadly farts” damage the olfactory nerves in the nose, so it is a serious health hazard.
